(1) I once refused a gig because the Groom wanted me to play a lot of "death metal" songs including one that was extremely derogatory towards his Bride. It was just too disrespectful and I wouidn't do it. My reputation is not worth money for doing something I don't believe in." (2) Recently, a photographer took my card because he was working a wedding I was DJ'ing. He said he has worked with lots of DJs but he really wanted me to do his wedding because he liked me so much better. I don't say this to brag but simply because a compliment like that from another wedding professional means so much because he can objectively compare me to other DJs in the area."
